Keepin' it real... / by Taylor Meyer

I am terrible about blogging, and really I’m not great about social media.  It’s really a problem since social media is kind of important here in 2016 and crucial to being visible as a photographer.

I’m not big on New Years resolutions, but I do think that the New Year is a great time to make an effort to improve things about yourself. I took on a 366 project starting January 1st, mostly because I’ve read it can greatly improve your photography skills, but also to increase my visibility. Keeping it real, I’ve only posted 11 out of the last 24 days, but its better than I did in 2015, so I’m still counting it as a positive.

In an effort to continue my efforts I am going back and blogging some of my shoots from 2015. I’m starting out with a session that is still one of my favorites to date even though it was early into my year of a new business.

The Hodge family is made up of three sweet boys that are all cuter than should be allowed. They were a joy to work with, because they were so happy and so playful.  The cherry on top was the absolutely dreamy lighting we had.
