Since I was a young girl I remember being enamored by the creative arts. I remember filling spiral notebooks with stories of all kinds, I learned to play instruments (none of them very successfully). I would draw tons of eyes all over my school work, I listened to music and tried to sing along like I was anyone from Stevie Nicks to Mariah Carey, I actually sounded more like a drowning pigeon squawking for help, but eventually I made my way to photography.
I am a creative person overall. I love to sew, quilts mostly. I love to make crafts, my new favorite is anything with pompoms. I love to make random things like jewelry, memory boards, wreaths and burp cloths. These types of things feed my soul…yes, pompoms feed my soul.
Truthfully, photography has always been inside of me. I remember vividly discovering Ansel Adams and especially these two photographs. It has always been the art that captivated me and something I wanted to excel at, but I was scared to take the risk. I purchased various cameras, took various photography courses, dabbled in landscape and eventually started to enjoy capturing people.
Like so many who have shared a story of how they came to a new chapter in life, I had to go through a few hard times in order to put myself out there and start this business. I could not be more thrilled to finally be following my passion and giving this exciting field my all. Thank you so much for joining me!
